Faye Smith is the newest addition to the team at Rural Route Creations. As a recent graduate from Kansas State University studying Agricultural Communications and Journalism, she learned to enjoy all aspects of communications and marketing. Faye enjoys the many hats of being a creator from writing and graphic design, to photography and videography. At Kansas State, Faye was able to lead the “The Agriculturist” magazine as the editor for two semesters, was a member of her sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma, and held many leadership roles through campus organizations.
As a little girl, Faye has always loved being a part of the agricultural industry. Flipping through sale books and magazines allowed her to grow her love for marketing and the cattle industry. Alongside her family, they own and operate MBAR Shorthorns, a purebred and appendix cow-calf operation in South-Central Kansas. Being a Shorthorn breeder and member has allowed Faye to develop her herd, and lead within the American Junior Shorthorn Association as she will wrap up her term as President of the board in the Summer of 2023.
Creativity, visual communications, and people are her specialties. Faye is excited to be able to join the team to develop strong client relationships and create next-level marketing materials for their business—agriculture and beyond.
