Rural Route Creations was established in November of 2007 by Cassie Dorran. While attending Oklahoma State University majoring in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science – Livestock Marketing, Cassie began creating marketing materials for livestock producers. 18 years later, her foundation of integrity and livestock industry passion has only grown. With deep agricultural roots, she grew up in Arkansas showing and raising purebred cattle, sheep and hogs. Cassie loves the industry but especially the people in it. She was a member of both the highly regarded livestock and meat judging teams in university. In 2012, Cassie married Ryan Dorran, a purebred livestock auctioneer and owner of Dorran Marketing Inc. DMI serves as an umbrella company of RRC within Canada. Ryan and Cassie enjoy traveling to visit their customers and seeing cattle at every chance. Their dedication and loyalty to their customers remains their concentration. Their son Dalton was born in 2017, and being a mother is her most favorite job of all. Tucker was later welcomed to the family, making the Dorran household a boy majority!
Over the last decade, marketing has revolutionized through the internet and social media, but clean, focused approaches will always be here to stay. Cassie loves telling the stories of their customers through a branded campaign that will increase awareness and ultimately business. You can often find her photographing, videoing, writing and designing on your behalf. Your trust and vision are No. 1 priority to Cassie when you invest in Rural Route Creations marketing. Faye Smith is an important member of our team at Rural Route Creations. As a recent graduate from Kansas State University studying Agricultural Communications and Journalism, she learned to enjoy all aspects of communications and marketing. Faye enjoys the many hats of being a creator from writing and graphic design, to photography and videography. At Kansas State, Faye was able to lead the “The Agriculturist” magazine as the editor for two semesters, was a member of her sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma, and held many leadership roles through campus organizations.
As a little girl, Faye has always loved being a part of the agricultural industry. Flipping through sale books and magazines allowed her to grow her love for marketing and the cattle industry. Alongside her family, they own and operate MBAR Shorthorns, a purebred and appendix cow-calf operation in South-Central Kansas. Being a Shorthorn breeder and member has allowed Faye to develop her herd, and lead within the American Junior Shorthorn Association as she will wrap up her term as President of the board in the Summer of 2023.
Creativity, visual communications, and people are her specialties. Faye is excited to be able to join the team to develop strong client relationships and create next-level marketing materials for their business—agriculture and beyond. Send me an EMAIL to get started on a project today!
